Role & responsibilities

  • Perform and review Microbiological Limit Tests (MLT) for raw materials, in-process and finished products
  • Conduct method suitability testing as per regulatory requirements
  • Carry out environmental monitoring of cleanroom areas
  • Perform microbiological analysis of water, RM, IP, and stability samples
  • Handle culture management and maintenance of microbial cultures
  • Manage media preparation, sterilization, and Growth Promotion Test (GPT)
  • Perform and review Bioassay (Vitamin B12 / Lactobacillus assay)
  • Preparation and review of trend data and analytical reports
  • Execute method validation, qualification, and calibration activities
  • Operate and monitor double door autoclave with SCADA system
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines
  • Support audits and maintain proper documentation practices

Preferred candidate profile

  • 5 to 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical microbiology lab
  • Strong hands-on experience in MLT, environmental monitoring, and bioassay
  • Knowledge of method validation and microbiological techniques
  • Experience in handling autoclave and lab equipment
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP and regulatory requirements
  • Good documentation, review, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology or related field
