Role Overview
They are seeking a Research Assistant to support their Research & Development team at their Head Office in Bengaluru.
The selected candidate will assist in laboratory research, soil analysis, formulation trials, data compilation, and field validation activities related to product development.
This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about agricultural research and wish to build a career in applied agronomic innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory analysis including soil, plant, and input material testing using standard analytical procedures.
- Assist in formulation development trials and experimental validation studies.
- Support product stability assessments, compatibility testing, and quality evaluations.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, experimental logs, and research documentation in compliance with internal protocols.
- Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of controlled and field-based research trials.
- Collect, compile, and analyze experimental and agronomic data using structured methods.
- Prepare research summaries, technical notes, and trial reports for internal review.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support ongoing research and product development initiatives.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry
OR - M.Sc. in other relevant life science disciplines
Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and analytical methods
- Basic knowledge of soil fertility and plant nutrition
- Strong observation and data recording skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic data handling
- Ability to work in a structured R&D environment
