 TUV SUD SOUTH ASIA PVT. LTD IS looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Microbiologist to join Food Testing team for Bangalore location . 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in microbiology lab operations, including microbiological testing and documentation.

1. Post- Senior Microbiologist ( 01 Position ) 
2. Company- TUV SUD SOUTH ASIA PVT. LTD
3. Qualification and Experience- 
  • 4-7 years' experience in microbiology lab work, including analysis and testing (preferably in food testing lab).
  • Ability to operate key lab equipment and perform calibration tasks.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of validation processes for autoclaves.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
4. Key Responsibilities:

  •  Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, water, and finished food products.
  • Handle cultures, growth promotion tests, media preparation, and environmental monitoring.
  • Conduct rapid tests (e.g., VIDAS) and analyze swab/hygiene samples.
  • Operate and calibrate microbiology-related equipment such as autoclaves, laminar air flow, pH meters, water baths, and incubators.
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Quality Management System standards.
  • Implement plating procedures for the enumeration of TPC, yeast & mould, coliforms, E.coli, Listeria spp., and Salmonella.
  • Ensure adherence to data integrity protocols in the lab.
  • Assist with customer and regulatory audits.
  • Knowledge of validation for Double Door and Vertical Autoclaves.
5. Job Description-
  • Hands-on experience in Microbiology lab & documentation.
  • Able to handle cultures, Growth promotion test, Media preparation, Environmental monitoring
  • Microbiological testing for Raw Materials , water & Finished Food Product.
  • Understanding and implementing the application of Rapid test in microbiology like VIDAS.
  • Analysis of swab sample & hygiene sample.
  • Operation and Calibration of microbiology related equipment’s such as Autoclave, Laminar Air Flow, pH meter, Water Bath, Incubators etc.
  • Maintain Documents as per Quality Management System and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
  • Fully aware of plating procedures for the enumeration of TPC, Yeast & Mould, coliforms, E.coli, Listeria spp, Salmonella etc.
  • Confident to face customer/ regulatory audits.
  • Basic knowledge of Validation of Double Door and Vertical Autoclave.
  • Handling of Double Door Autoclave and Dry Heat Sterilizer (DHS).
  • Ensuring and following Data Integrity in Laboratory.
  • Maintaining of Analytical Reports, & Records.
