Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission Requires Pharmacopoeial Scientist 

Applications are invited for the engagement of contractual position of  Pharmacopoeial Scientist  at  Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), Ghaziabad through  Maanpowe resource outsourcing  services providing agency.

1. Name of the Post- Pharmacopoeial Scientist 

2. Age  Limit- Not Exceeding 45 years 

3. Emolument- Rs 50,000/- PM

4. No. Of Posts- 01

5. Qualification/Experience- 

a. Ph. D. Degree in Molecular biology/ Genomics or Equivalent and handling of modern analytical instruments ( Gene sequencing, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, gel docuentation and lyophilizer etc )

b. Good knowledge of computers 

OR

a. Master's degree in microbiology/ molecular biology/ genomics  or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience in handling of modern analytical instruments ( Gene sequencing, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, gel docuentation and lyophilizer etc )

b.  Good knowledge of computers 

6. Nature of duties 

a. Handling and storage of microbial reference cultures at microbiology division

b. Genotypic sequencing of  microbial reference cultures at  microbiology division

c. Isolation , purification and characterization of new microbial reference cultures for IP at Microbiology division.

d. Conducting research activities in the area of  microbial reference cultures in coordination with similar organizations.
