4. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Experience in molecular biology and biochemical skills such as various cloning methods including restriction digestion, assembly etc. cloning/DNA/RNA/Protein/Antibody isolation/purification. RT-PCR, Electroporation, gel electrophoresis and transformation.
  • Able conceptualize and design  novel vectors across expression systems including bacterial, yeast, mammalian, gene modification techniques.
  • Able to design experiments, develop assays, optimize protocols and interpret experimental results with minimum supervision.
  • Generate good quality data consistently and promptly update it in LNB and database.
  • Understanding of systems and processes pertaining to safety , health and environment.
