Position Details

Post: Project Research Scientist – Non-Medical
Number of Vacancies: 01
Monthly Remuneration: ₹61,040/-
Age Limit: Up to 40 years as on the date of interview
Initial Tenure: Six months or until continuation of the project, whichever is earlier

Essential Qualification

Master’s degree in Bioinformatics or any stream of Biological Sciences or Life Sciences, with a minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Experience and Skills

  • Extensive experience in cancer genomics analysis, including next-generation sequencing (NGS) data from biological and clinical samples.
  • Experience in whole-genome/exome sequencing, transcriptomics, targeted sequencing of limited gene panels, and establishment of in-house bioinformatics pipelines.
  • Sound knowledge of Linux, scripting, and R programming.
  • Candidates working in academic institutions with a minimum of two years of proven experience will be preferred.
