This is an opportunity for Microbiology graduates with laboratory experience to work in quality testing, research and nature-conservation-related activities.

About the Job

TIES Laboratory is an accredited laboratory involved in various quality-testing activities related to water, soil, food and other materials.

The Microbiologist will also be involved in research-related activities, including:

  • Microbial isolation
  • Antimicrobial studies
  • Phytochemical studies
  • Maintenance of bacterial and fungal stock cultures
  • Production of 5–6 varieties of spawn
  • Production of biopesticides
  • Production of fertilizers
  • Production of growth promoters
  • Other microbiological laboratory activities

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have:

  • M.Sc. in Microbiology, or
  • B.Sc. in Microbiology

Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a testing laboratory or in any of the specified areas of work will be given preference.

Salary

₹18,000/- per month

The position is regular and full-time, with a one-year probation period.
