Job Responsibilities

The selected Microbiologist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting microbiological contamination studies and monitoring
  • Preparing and sterilizing microbiological media
  • Culture maintenance and routine microbial handling
  • Preparing inoculum and monitoring microbial growth
  • Microbial population assessment and basic microbiological testing
  • Supporting biofertilizer production processes
  • Maintaining laboratory records, SOPs and test documentation

Eligibility

B.Sc. in Microbiology is required.

Freshers are welcome to apply. Previous experience in biofertilizer, agricultural microbiology or industrial microbiology will be an added advantage.

Skills Required

Candidates should have:

  • Strong aseptic technique
  • Basic knowledge of bacterial culture and media preparation
  • Familiarity with microbial enumeration and contamination testing
  • Good laboratory discipline
  • Good documentation skills
