Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) invites applications for internships under its Internship Scheme 2024.

🎓 Eligibility

Full-time students pursuing Graduate/Postgraduate/Higher Degree from a recognized institution in:

- Food Technology / Food Science & Technology

- Food & Nutrition / Food Safety & Quality Assurance

- Microbiology / Industrial Microbiology

- Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Chemistry

- Agricultural/Horticultural Sciences

- Dairy Technology / Edible Oil Technology

- Toxicology / Public Health / Life Sciences

- Fruit & Vegetable Technology

- B.Tech/BE in relevant disciplines

- Business Administration & Management, Statistics, IT, Law, Commerce

- Journalism, Mass Communication & Public Relations

- Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering — only 3rd & 4th year students

- Public Policy / Public Administration — FSSAI HQ only

📍 Internship Locations & Areas

FSSAI HQ, New Delhi: HR, IT, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, Science & Standards, Imports/Trade, Legal, Policy, Training, Administration and related areas.

Regional Offices: Mumbai, Ghaziabad & Chennai — Food Imports Clearance & Licensing.

National Food Laboratories: Ghaziabad, Kolkata, Raxaul, Chennai & Mumbai — Food Sampling & Testing.

⏳ Duration

Minimum: 2 months

Maximum: 6 months

Internships shorter than 2 months are not offered.

💰 Stipend

₹10,000/- for the entire internship period, subject to eligibility/performance criteria.

💻 Other Details

- Interns must arrange their own laptops.

- FSSAI provides working space and internet facilities.

- Travel, local accommodation and boarding expenses are not covered.

- Certificate awarded after successful completion and submission/review of the final report/presentation.
