A walk-in interview is scheduled for the project titled “Validation of host RNA
biomarker panel to diagnose bacterial and viral etiology in undifferentiated acute febrile
infections" funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India.
The project is being carried out under Dr. Agiesh Kumar. B., Principal Investigator,
Department of Clinical Virology, Institute of Advanced Virology.

4. Minimum Essential
qualifications:
Plus two in science + Diploma in MLT + Five Years
experience in relevant subject/field
OR
Graduate Degree in relevant subject/field + two years’
experience in relevant subject
5. Desirable: Experience with sample collections & processing(Serum/plasma/whole blood) and maintaining quality standards in laboratories.
6. Duration : Initially for a period of one year and extendable for two
more years or till termination of the project whichever is
earlier based on performance evaluation on yearly basis.
7. Emoluments : ₹ 20,000/- per month + applicable HRA

5. The appointment will be coterminous with the project. The initial appointment will be
for one year and subsequent extensions will be based on performance and approval
from the funding agency.
6. Age relaxation will be given as per the ICMR guidelines.
7. The position is purely temporary, and selection to the position will not entitle the
candidate to any claim for future positions at IAV or ICMR (permanent or otherwise).
