The Aravind Medical Research Foundation (AMRF), Madurai, is the research arm
of the Aravind Eye Care System. AMRF is committed to advancing scientific
knowledge through cutting-edge basic and translational research in vision science.
Scholars at AMRF can register for Ph.D. under collaborating universities and work
in various fields, including biomedical sciences, molecular biology, biotechnology,
microbiology and bioinformatics.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following temporary
positions under the Project titled “MicroRNA-Guided Point-of-Care Diagnostics for
Microbial Keratitis – Development and Clinical Validation”, funded by the VELUX Stiftung, Switzerland, for four years. The project focuses on developing rapid
molecular diagnostic tools for microbial keratitis using host microRNA biomarkers,
molecular diagnostics, and clinical validation approaches.

Minimum Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/
Biotechnology, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years post-
qualification Experience or PhD.

diagnostics, qPCR/dPCR, or related laboratory techniques
Monthly Emoluments: ₹56,000/- + 20% HRA per month
2. Junior Research Fellow

Minimum Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/
