1. Position: Plant Manager / Production Manager - Biological Manufacturing

4. Reporting To: GM - Biological Business
5. About the Role: 
As the Plant Head, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of om Biological Manufacturing Facility, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. 
You will drive production excellence, quality compliance, team development, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting business growth.
6. Key Responsibilities: 
-Lead manufacturing operations for:
-Mycorrhizal Formulations Biofertilizers
-Biostimulants
-VAM & ROC Products Microbial Technicals
-Drive production planning, productivity improvement, and resource optimization.
-Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, EHS norms, and SOPs.
-Oversee plant administration, maintenance, inventory management, procurement coordination, and timely dispatches.
-Lead and develop cross-functional teams across Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality, and Administration.
-Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams for product commercialization, technology transfer, and scale-up activities.
7. Qualification:  M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Industrial Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.
-Additional qualification in Operations or Industrial Management will be an added advantage.
8. Experience: 
-12-20 years of experience in biological manufacturing operations.
-Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing a biological production facility.
-Hands-on experience in microbial products, biofertilizers, biostimulants, mycorrhiza, VAM, fermentation, and related biological inputs.
