8. Qualifications

Essential Criteria: Post Graduate degree in Chemistry/life Science and related discipline with a minimum of 60% Marks or CGPA of 7/10. Fellowship: NET or any national level JRF eligibility test qualified, GATE

(score greater than 500). DBT JRF (category II) can also apply. Desirable: Expertise in protein expression and characterization/peptide synthesis and analysis.

The requirement of a qualifying NET/GATE qualification may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.00 (80% aggregate marks).
