1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. No. of Posts: 01

3. Project Title: Deciphering Molecular and Physiological Mechanisms Underlying Flood Resilience in Tomato (Solanum lycopersicut).

4. Eligibility:

a. Essential:

Master's degree (with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology /Plant Science or equivalent from a recognized University.

b. CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified/national-level examination conducted by central government departments or their agencies/institutions (such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, etc.)

c. Desirable:

Strong academic record

Prior research experience in molecular biology, plant handling, and microbial

cultures handling

Tomato tissue culture

5. Principal Investigator:

Dr. Ganesh M. Nawkar Biotechnology Research Centre Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune

6. Last Date: June 20, 2026

7. Duration:Initially for 12 months, extendable based on performance up to 36 months (completion of the project)
