1. Position: Microbiologist

2. Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology or related field

3. Job Location: Pithampur

4. Experience: 0-2 Years (Freshers can also apply)

5. Key Responsibilities:

a. Perform routine microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, water samples, and environmental monitoring samples as per SOPs, pharmacopeial standards, and cGMP guidelines.

b. Conduct sterility testing, microbial limit testing, endotoxin (LAL) testing, and microorganism identification under guidance.

c. Prepare, sterilize, and perform Growth Promotion Testing (GPT) of media.

d. Maintain culture stock, perform sub-culturing, and ensure proper preservation of microbial strains.

e. Carry out environmental monitoring (air, surface, swab, settle plates, personnel monitoring) in classified areas.

g. Follow aseptic techniques and proper gowning procedures to minimize contamination risks.

g. Maintain accurate documentation in logbooks, worksheets, and systems as per regulatory requirements.

h. Ensure calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of lab instruments (LAF, Incubators, Autoclaves, Colony Counters, Microscopes).

i. Assist in sterility testing of parenteral products using validated methods.

j. Support audit documentation, CAPA preparation, and regulatory inspections.

k. Perform additional tasks assigned by senior staff.
