2. Location: GeNei Laboratories, Electronic City Phase II, Bangalore
3. About the Role: 
GeNei Laboratories is hiring
Research Associates for the New Product Development (NPD) team.
The role involves developing and optimizing molecular biology reagents, with a strong focus on gene-to-protein workflows and recombinant protein technologies.
4. Key Responsibilities: 
-Design and execute experiments for new product development and customer-specific requirements
-Work on gene-to-protein workflows, including cloning, expression, and purification
-Perform and optimize PCR and Real-Time PCR experiments
-Follow established protocols for product development and lab services
-Conduct data analysis, documentation, and reporting; present results in team meetings Prepare buffers, media, and stock solutions and maintain lab equipment
-Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and training procedures Support additional project-related tasks as required
5. Required Qualifications: 
M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology /Bioprocess Engineering or related field
6. Experience: 
-Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
-Hands-on experience in protein expression using E. coli systems
7. Technical Skills: 
-Experience in cloning, expression, purification, and characterization of proteins/enzymes
-Hands-on experience with GE ÄKTA systems (e.g., ÄKTA Pure)
