The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Project Research Scientist-I to work under Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) sponsored project.

1. Position : Project Research Scientist-I

2. Project title: 

Cancer-on-Chip: Developing a state-of-the-art microfluidic diagnostic Organ-on-Chip (OoC) platform to study ex vivo chemo radiation sensitivity in breast cancer patients.

4. Principal Investigator: Dr. Sanjiban Chakrabarty

5. No. of positions : 01

6. Eligibility: First class M.Sc. in the field of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry.

-Candidates with UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.

-Candidates with prior experience will be preferred: DNA damage response, microfluidics, genomics, cancer biology, genome editing, confocal microscopy, animal handling (mouse model).

7. Remuneration: Rs 61,040 per month (including HRA) for the first two years and, Rs 64,092 per month in third year as per the ICMR norms.

8. Duration of the project: 2 Years.
