2. Location: TERI Gram, Gwal Pahari, Gurugram, Haryana

3. Duration: 1 Year

4. Who Should Apply?

M.Sc. in Life Sciences

(Microbiology / Biotechnology /Botany / Marine Biology or related fields)

5. Experience:

-Minimum 1 year experience in microbiology, fermentation techniques, or algae research (preferred)

-Knowledge of algal morpho-taxonomy & molecular techniques (added advantage)

-Strong communication skills & ability to work independently and in teams

-Willingness and fitness for fieldwork in remote mangrove regions

6. Key Responsibilities:

-Sample collection and isolation of microbial sources from mangrove ecosystem.

-Optimize microbial cultivation processes for high-yield bioactive production.

-Develop and implement extraction and purification protocols for bioactive compounds.

-Media preparation, maintenance of cultures, general lab upkeep.

-Collect data and maintain record, data analysis and presentation, and submission of reports.
