This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing GLP-compliant toxicology programs while ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance and scientific excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage mammalian toxicology studies in compliance with GLP standards.
-Provide strategic and operational leadership to the toxicology function.
-Ensure adherence to global regulatory guidelines (OECD, FDA, and other applicable authorities). Oversee study design, execution, reporting, and audit readiness. Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing scientific teams.
Experience & Expertise:
8-10 years of experience in Mammalian Toxicology Proven experience as a Study Director (SD) in a GLP environment Hands-on experience in 6-pack studies and acute toxicity studies across all routes of exposure (oral, dermal, inhalation, etc.) Strong expertise across key branches of mammalian toxicology, including:
-Subacute and chronic toxicity studies.
-Carcinogenicity studies (long-term assessment of cancer-causing potential).
-Reproductive and developmental toxicology (including fertility, embryo-fetal development, teratogenicity, and multigenerational studies).
-Experience working across multiple domains: agrochemicals,
pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and medical devices.
Qualifications:
PhD or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related field.
