Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of one Junior Research Fellow in a GSBTM funded research project with following details
Title: "Investigation of predation pressure as a novel approach for enhanced bacterial exopolysaccharides (EPS) production to improve soil restoration, health and aggregation"

Essential qualifications: M.Sc., Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or relevant area of Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent and with CSIR-NET/GATE/BET qualification (Non CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidate can also apply, however, if selected the fellowship will be given as per the norms of GSBTM, Gandhinagar)
Desirable: Practical knowledge in microbial (bacteria/protist) culture, soil biology, and statistical optimization analysis will be given preference.
Age limit: 28 years Salary: As per the norms
Duration: Three years or up to the termination of project (subject to the review of candidates performance)
