1. Job Title: Research Trainee (Microbiology &Bioprocessing)

2. Duration: 6 months (Extendable based on performance)

5. Reporting To:

Lab Manager / Project Lead

6. Responsibilities:

a. Perform microbiological techniques (culture handling, isolation, media preparation, staining, aseptic techniques

b. Assist in biochemical analysis and assays

c. Conduct DNA isolation and basic molecular biology procedures

d. Support fermentation processes (media preparation, inoculation, monitoring, downstream basics)

e. Maintain aseptic and follow laboratory biosafety protocols

f. Maintain accurate laboratory records, SOPs, documentation, and data logs.

g. Ensure compliance with lab safety and quality standards

6. Qualifications

B. Tech / MSc. / M. Tech in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields

7. Experience:

Freshers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

8. Required Skills & Knowledge

- Hands-on knowledge of Microbiological techniques

-Strong fundamentals in Biochemistry

-Knowledge and preferably experience in DNA isolation

- Strong understanding of fermentation techniques

-Basic lab documentation and data recording skills

-Familiarity with laboratory instruments and equipment

- Understanding of biosafety procedures

-Basic data documentation and reporting skills

-Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a research/ industrial environment
