Required Technical Operator- M.Tech/M.Sc. Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.

Required Technical Operator for the Mass Spec core facility (BIOSAIF) at Dept. of Biotechnology at IIT Madras. Candidates need to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in supporting cutting-edge research. Prior experience in HPLC operation and data analysis is preferred.
Educational qualification:
M.Tech/M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance - Regular operation, monitoring, and upkeep of the LCMS (Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry).
Sample Preparation - Handling biological and chemical samples with precision, following standard protocols for metabolomics, proteomics, etc.
User Support - Guiding internal and external users in utilizing the facility effectively, scheduling sample runs, and maintaining proper documentation.
Consumables & Inventory Management - Ensuring timely availability of consumables and assisting with inventory management for uninterrupted operations.
