Research Associate

3. About the Role:
Company is  seeking a highly motivated Scientist with expertise in microbiome research to join their team. The role involves end-to-end microbiome analysis - from wet lab sample processing to bioinformatics data interpretation - contributing to transformative projects in human health and genomics.
4. Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Life Sciences /Biotechnology with 
3-5 years of relevant experience
OR
Ph.D. in Life Sciences /Biotechnology with 2+ years of experience in microbiome research.
5. Key Responsibilities:
-Perform wet lab experiments including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, library preparation, and sequencing workflows.
-Conduct microbial community analysis using advanced sequencing technologies (16S rRNA, shotgun metagenomics, etc.).
-Perform quality control, data preprocessing, and downstream bioinformatics analysis.
-Interpret results and prepare scientific reports, presentations, and publications.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing research and clinical projects.
-Stay updated with latest tools, technologies, and advancements in microbiome research.
6. Skills & Competencies:
-Strong hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques.
-Proficiency in microbiome 
bioinformatics pipelines and statistical analysis (QIIME2, mothur, R, Python, etc.).
-Familiarity with NGS platforms and data interpretation.
-Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
