1. Job Title: Senior Molecular Biologist -qPCR and NGS Assay Development
2. Location: Jaipur
3. Job Type: Full-time
4. Job Summary:
Company is seeking a highly experienced Molecular Biologist specializing in RT-PCR, qPCR, NGS assay development. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing high multiplex primer-probes, NGS probes, and assays optimization.
5. Key Responsibilities:
• Primer-Probe Design & Optimization: Independently design and develop highly specific and efficient qPCR primers and probes for infectious disease, oncology and other genomic applications.
• RT-PCR/qPCR Assay Development: Design, optimize, and validate multiplex qPCR assays, ensuring high sensitivity and specificity for advancing the technology close of point of care.
• Molecular Assay Optimization:
Troubleshoot and enhance reaction conditions to improve assay robustness, reproducibility, and efficiency.
• Data Analysis & Interpretation: Use software tools (e.g., Bio-Rad, Quant Studio software) to analyze qPCR results, interpret amplification curves, and generate comprehensive reports.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, bioinformatics, and engineering teams to integrate qPCR assays with portable POC qPCR platforms.
• Technology & Compliance: Stay updated on ISO 13485 standards, regulatory guidelines, and new trends in molecular diagnostics to ensure assay quality and compliance.
6. Required Qualifications:
• Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
7. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in qPCR assay development, multiplex primer-probe design, and molecular diagnostics. Candidate with qPCR+NGS experience will be preferred. 
8. Technical Skills:
Expertise in primer/probe design tools (Primer3, OligoAnalyzer, NCBI BLAST, Beacon Designer).
o Experience with Allele specific qPCR assay development.
o Experience in multiplex qPCR assay development and direct sample testing.
o Proficiency in qPCR data analysis software (Bio-Rad CFX Manager, ABI QuantStudio, or similar).
o Strong knowledge of molecular assay validation and regulatory compliance (ISO 13485, CLSI guidelines).
