5. Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Responsible for maintaining Quality Management System and compliance with NABL criteria.
2. Microbiological analysis as per the requirements.
3. Method verification&validation, Measurement of uncertainty as per standard.
4. Daily verification of raw data, logbooks, technical records, test results and reports before submitting the same for final test reports.
5. Ensuring the timely entry/submission of test results in LIMS and verification of the same.
6. Maintain all records as per ISO 17025 guidelines
7. Preparation of SOP, protocols.
8. Preparation and implementation of PT and IQC plans as per the timelines.
9. Upgradation of methods, protocols and their timely revisions.
10. Maintaining the integrity of samples
11.Maintaining logbooks, calibration records
12.Calibration of equipment and preventive maintenance as per schedule.
13. Maintenance of housekeeping, Environmental conditions in the laboratory
14. Timely disposal of samples 
15.Preparation of standard solutions and maintaining records for the same
16.Checking validity and purity of Reference material
17.Performing Sterility checks and air monitoring as per schedule.
18.Maintenance of standard reference cultures
19. Maintenance of stock levels of all consumables required in the laboratory.
