The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad is a Research Institute under Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, that has been established to provide services in DNA fingerprinting and diagnosis of genetic disorders, and to undertake high quality basic research in frontier areas of modern Biology
CDFD wishes to fill up one post of Consultant (Science Communication & Content Creator) purely on temporary basis whose tenure shall initially be for a period of 12 months and further extensions will be based on the performance and need.

2. Post Name: Consultant (Science Communication & Content Creator) – 01 post
3. Consultancy fee: Minimum of ₹ 50,000/- P.M to Maximum of ₹ 60,000/- P.M (based on qualification and experience)
4. Age: Not more than 45 years.
5. Essential Qualification: B.Sc. / B.Tech in any branch of Life Sciences with minimum 3 years relevant experience or M.Sc / M.Tech life Sciences with one year relevant experience.
6. Job Description:
- Contribute to content creation on institute activities.
- Highlighting ongoing research through writing and editing articles, short summaries, Videos etc., for diverse audiences.
- Interaction with internal and external scientists showcasing them and their science.
- Working with external agencies / professionals for writing, illustration or other media such as videos and documentaries.
- Managing the social media pages like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.
- Creating and distributing Press Releases.
