1. Job Title: Scientist (Assay Development)

2. Job Location: Bengaluru, India

3. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, development, optimization, qualification and troubleshooting of host cell proteins, host cell DNA, leached protein A assays etc.

• Intellectual and hands on contribution towards life-cycle management of methods (data trending, data analysis, and improvement of methods

• Regularly review data trending charts and provide technical inputs

• Author and review study reports and SOP/IOPS

• Maintain equipment and instruments.

• Manage consumables procurement and usage in laboratory.

4. Technical / Functional Skills:

• Ligand binding assays (ELISA)

• 1-D and 2D-Gel electrophoresis and western blot

• Polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), Genomic DNA isolation. Plasmid DNA isolation

• Antibody purification and labelling

• Protein estimation (BCA assay, Bradford assay)

5. Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Minimum an MS, preferably with a background in Molecular Biology /Immunology with at least 2-3 years of industry experience.
