I) Name of Post: Project Assistant – I (PA–I)

• Seeking a dedicated lab assistant for cleaning and maintenance in  microscopy and FACS facility. 
• This role is essential for ensuring that our equipment remains in optimal condition and that the workspace is organized and safe. 
• Responsibilities include cleaning glassware and other basic lab works such as maintaining instruments, assisting with routine maintenance checks, organizing laboratory supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

III) Name of Post: Project Associate– I (PAT–I) 

A. Total Number of positions: 1 

B.  Monthly Emoluments:

•  (i) 31,000/-p.m. + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
•  (ii) 25,000/-p.m. + HRA as applicable/ admissible for others who do not fall under (i) above.

IV) Name of Post: Senior Research Fellow 

A. Total Number of positions: 1 

B. Monthly Emoluments: 42,000/- + HRA 

C.Upper Age limit (years): 35 years

a. 1. Post Code/ No. of Positions/ Area- 061024A/R-1 position - Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Genomics, Veterinary Sciences, Fishery Sciences

2. Project Code/ Title- GAP0642/ Genome assembly, comparative genomics and transcriptomics of the endangered Himalayan golden mahseer (Tor putitora) to identify the genomic basis of sex differentiation and economically important traits for the development of aquaculture and conservation under climate change.

3. Essential Qualification- MSc / MVSc or equivalent degree in any area of Biology from a recognized University AND 2 years of research experience and selected through National Eligibility Tests -CSIR UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or DBT-BET, GATE or a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.

4. Desirable / Job description- In-depth knowledge and experience in de novo genome assembly, functional annotation, phylogenetics and comparative genomics.

V) Name of Post: Principal - PAT

 6 years’ of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services

 OR

 (ii) Master’s / Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University

 OR 

Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering /Technology / Pharma/ MD/ MS from a recognized University or equivalent. 

AND 

3 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
